Antique Hand Painted Cut Crystal Gold Rimmed Jesus Communion Cup

This fantastic and beautiful antique cut crystal communion cup is hand painted and gilded in 24K gold.  The front frosted oval panel of Jesus and disciples still retains vibrant coloration and is highly detailed.  It is framed on either side by 24K gold hand painted scrolling leaves.  The cup tapers from top to bottom, has a  wrap-around cross hatched cut crystal band on both the top and bottom, with a cut crystal star design on its underside.  The cup's rim is  24K gold.  There are a  couple of very tiny flea bites on the underside of the cup, which do not detract at all from its overall presence. Given its age, there is minimal surface wear or scratching. It is in extremely fine antique condition.
