Antique Edwardian Gorham Sterling Silver Cut Crystal Perfume Scent Bottle
This dramatic antique Gorham sterling silver and cut crystal perfume/scent bottle dates from the Edwardian period and harkens to a bygone era. Large in size, it has a sterling silver stopper with linear engraving alongside a centered cartouche that is not engraved. The sterling stopper is marked along its neck with the Gorham maker's mark. There are some very subtle dents on the top of the stopper, which do not detract from the beauty of this piece. The crystal bottle's elongated neck sits atop a flaring oval base. The entire bottle is deeply cut, displaying a ribbed, scalloped nature. The bottom of the bottle is also cut with a radiating star pattern. There are minimal flea bits along the crystal edges of the bottle, and it is in excellent antique condition given its age and rarity.
