Antique English Sterling Silver Cranberry Glass Perfume Bottle
This charming English Birmingham cranberry glass faceted crystal perfume bottle has a hinged sterling silver top. Originally probably part of a larger travel vanity set, the bottom is cut with an eight-pointed star motif and the sides are cut in large kite-shaped facets. The sterling lid carries a full set of hallmarks on its collar, a partial set of hallmarks on the inside top, and is chased and engraved with the initials "EM" on top. The bottle dates from 1908. There are some slight dents on the silver top and the stopper is frozen in place, but this does not take away from the appeal of this bottle at all. It is in very good antique condition.
