Antique Sterling Silver LOLA Name Pin - Aesthetic/ Arts & Crafts
This wonderful antique sterling silver pin combines so many elements of the late Victorian era, including motifs from both the Aesthetic Movement and the early Arts & Crafts period in England. It is also representational of sentimental name jewelry, that was extremely popular during the Victorian era and given as tokens of affection. This pin is beautifully and elaborately engraved with LOLA on its front side, and carries a complete set of British hallmarks on its back. Given those hallmarks, this pin was made in Birmingham, England and dates from 1893. It is in excellent antique condition.
